Tim Ridley In 2011 Tim graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design. He won the Ovalhouse Prize for his degree show performance ‘Cartrouble Oh Yeah’. This resulted in the performance ‘007 v John Ridley’ which took place in the Ovalhouse Theatre in 2011.
Tim uses painting, drawing, collage and assemblage to explore difference and binary opposition in contemporary society. A particular interest is the human/animal divide. Tim likes to cross disciplinary boundaries with his work and subject matter. He is an associate member of the Penwith Society of Artists and a member of the Newlyn Society of Artists, and lives in Penzance, Cornwall.
